During the week commencing 13th November 2017 Severn Trent Trust Fund will take their next challenge to the water, as they aim to swim 20,000 metres over the course of a week.
The team of five including Carol Arnold, Catherine White, Ruth Clarke, Joe Millington and Tom Bonser will take on this challenge at Wyndley Leisure Centre, Sutton Coldfield. The Leisure Centre has kindly donated a lane at the swimming pool for the challenge.
Tom Bonser, Marketing Executive at Auriga Services said, “All of the activities we have completed so far to celebrate the Severn Trent Trust Fund’s 20th Anniversary have been so different and challenging. Whilst we have enjoyed completing them all and putting ourselves to the test, we realise the swim will be physically challenging but we are looking forward to diving in and taking part. We are hoping to raise money for the challenge so please support us.”
Severn Trent Trust Fund are aiming to raise £20,000 for WaterAid by April 2018. WaterAid are helping the world’s poorest communities to transform their lives with clean water. One in ten people do not have access to safe water and one in three do not have access to a decent toilet.
