Grants

Each year, a limited amount of money is also allocated to supporting money advice and debt counselling. The amount available is always substantially less than demand.

Organisations may make an application showing how they would use the grants to enhance or develop money advice services to people and families served by Severn Trent Water Ltd.

Each year Trustees may decide on 'special interests' to concentrate on for a 12 month period.  These can either be a 'social group' or 'geographical area'.

There are three main types of organisational grants available:

  1. Revenue Funding - typically to help fund money advice or debt counselling service.

  2. Capital Grants - applications for small capital items e.g. training aids/computer equipment can be submitted up to a maximum of £1,500. Click Here For More Information

  3. Continuation Funding - applications for continuation funding of the project may be submitted within the final 6 months.  This type of funding is not to continue current projects indefinitely but to enable, where appropriate, other funding to be sourced and agreed.

If you would like to apply for a grant on behalf of your organisation e-mail the Trust by clicking the link below and we will reply within 48 hours
